The National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT) of the Republic of Panama is an autonomous institution, whose mission is to transform the science and the technology into sustainable development tools for the country.

It is a business association, founded on May 17, 1915 and comprised of representatives from 15 sectors of commerce, industry, agriculture and service of our country. It promotes the best interests of its members against actions that affect the principle of free enterprise and private initiative.
